Hello.. Uasually post over in the wood mill area since I've been working on my 4x8 router mill but now at the stage where I'm looking at software. Think I'm about to order the Vcarve package but figured I would ask if anyone has some recomendations of other packages around that same price point 600 dollars. So far in my playing Vcarve seems to be the strongest in the area of actually working (very important) and the friendly category. Seems just about the only logical choice around that price. Using Mach3 as my control software Tried several demo packages: bobcad ArtCam looked promising maybe more powerfull then vcarve (more cad like) although the price is to high I think.. Maybe some one has some other recomendations.. b. |

| For the price, I think Vcarve is the best option. Maybe someone will point you in another way but I don't know of anything better. I can say that when it comes to support after the sale Vectric is top of the line. They always will be there to help. Just my opinion but I am very happy I decided to go with Vcarve. Dman |
