Need a little advice on upgrading | |
Hi everyone,
I have a question about software and pc's working with older controllers. I don't know if this is possible so I thought I would ask. Here's the situation.
A GE 1050 controller from 1982 that runs a turret punch. What I would like to do is take a pc with punching software and nesting software, save a file fully nested and then have a software that converts that file into something that this controller can understand. We could hook the pc up through a port and download the file for punching. Any ideas or advice, or is it worth doing? Any ideas on software I could use?
