Acramatic A2100 Benchman 5000 Prolight ATC | | I've got an odd problem with a somewhat odd machine with a common Acramatic 2100 control.
The machine is a Benchman 5000 which is a 10 yr old desktop mill made my Light Machines now Intelitek. This machine has a simple 4 station automatic tool changer that is used on several other machines from Light Machines. It sits on the left side of the table and has 4 pneumatic actuators that push a special tool holder (ER-20 Collet) into the spindle vertically after some positioning. Its allways worked flawlessly.
About a month ago, I had a tool changer "crash" where the table was not located properly to load the tool and pneumatic piston drove the tool next to the spindle, dropped the current tool and stopped. No real damage was done but the tool changer has never worked correctly since.
Whenever I do a tool change, I get an error that the tool changer is not in the proper position and a subroutine error that says that the M6 didn't complete.
I've looked at all the parameters and have even tried to tweak some position data with no help. Any ideas appreciated. |
