My friend says that they are having the Numatix control removed. The main problems are cutter comp.(G41,G42) not working and poor service. He does however say that the control is smooth. He also said that a card that controls the push button functions lost all of its settings. A machinist was trying to take a tool out of the spindle and when he pushed the tool clamp/unclamp button the spindle came on in his hand. Luckily, it was an extended reach holder and he was not injured. Talk about a bad morning! |
