Hi all, I am new to CNC Lathes, even though I have some experience with CNC Mills. I am interested to know how to generate a drawing using Autocad 2004 and use it on my CNC Lathe, which uses X axis and Z axis. Using Autocad 2004 the 2D drawings could be generated only on X axis and Y axis. I am a bit puzzled. Please help. Thanks. Edward Perera. |

| Well you can do this, call your Autocad X axis Z and your Y axis X. And remeber the values on the Y from zero Y for X is double. .5 on Y is 1.00 on X. .5 on X is .5 on Z.
