| Mike, I have had excellent, fair, and in some cases "it won't work at all" reports from all around the world! In my case, it served me well until I went cnc. There have been a couple of reports of flaky readings (and I had some of them) but in most cases, it was traced down to wiring problems. I have never setup the tach function in V5.4 so I cannot respond to its functionality. It really is a quick and easy project to make and for a few, it was the first time they had tried to do any sort of electronics/computer project. Be glad to help out if I can. Art

| thanks art, i thought it would be a good compliment to the electronic hand wheels that i'm working on.the wheels will control the machine directly and the dro will run on my old laptop.
