routout question

hi i want to buy "routout kit" + steppers from some other place. does any one have any experience whit it. i'm itrested in speed and power that i can get out of it. would the drivers drive motors of 30v/2.5 amps or thei have to be 3v/2.5 amps respectiv 30v/0.5 amp.
i'm going to need a speed of around 20 inch/sec for cutting glass whit an diamond (schraching the glass) on a 2/3 metres table generaly cutting straight lines
i live in UK so i have to use local distributors + it looks ceap enough
any other sugestions ?

You'll be lucky to get 1/10 of that speed with that setup. 1200ipm will cost a lot of money, and would probably best be achieved with servo motors and high lead ballscrews.
