| You can use DOS programs like Telix and Qmodem, they are still free under shareware. Under windows Cadem has a free one for single machine. Do not use Hyperterminal, the Win 3.1 Terminal was very good if you can get a copy, it runs under later windows. Al.

| hey chip swepper, We use an old program called tele-mate. I have searched the web to find it but to no avail. I have used it on every upgrade lap-top the company has given me and the latest laptop is a toshiba 2535cds running windows 98se. No problems at all. I upload and download to a : nasa, with fanuc controller and an old Mori-seiki. If you can find tele-mate or a good copy this should be all you need. |

| Chuy, take a look at the following site.. http://www.cadem.com/ncnet/ncnet.htm.. I have used the NC Lite free version on Fanuc, Okuma, DynaPath as well as other CNC control's. Good Luck, JR
