Hey,
Does anyone know a good CNC software that runs on DOS???

I like CNCZeus. and I have herd alot of good things about TurboCNC also.

I use TurboCnc, and find it fantastic.
One of the things I really like is registration, is that you get the access to the source code so you can make your own modifications.

Talking winpc-nc

Hello all

Is der anywan who uses winpc-nc,its german software +controller,its very stable and runs uder windows.You can route engrave draw an other part,at
the same time.I route and search the net. I own cnc router bild in germany,
by haase.The company bild desktop and routers up to 52 feet.there is also
dos version of winpcnc,named pc-nc

When i got my router the controller was only for plt files,and hoked up on the
paralel port.The controller for winpc-nc runs om my serialport,thy send my a converter so i can use my old stepper controller.But i am a ships carpenter,so
i dont have not a clou off the electronicns.But winpc-nc doubeld my speed,circels are routed in one go at full speed.236 inch a min. you can check
it type in google lewetz but the site is only in german.

They make quite a few cnc oriented programs and they seem to be popular in germany . (and functioning )
They have english manuals .
I looked at the demo's but unfortunately I haven't build my machine yet .
