| Hi Guy's, I have recently bought an SCM Record 2CE 3 axis router, it is fitted with Yaskawa brushless servo motors complete with all of the drivers etc. It is a 1994 model and has a bit of a dated controller, green monochrome screen and only 320kb memory. It does have RS232 input DNC and drip feed capability. It can do prety much anything including all 3 axis interpolation etc. What I am interested in is, how difficult would it be and what would I need to upgrade the controller to something like a new Fanuc Oi control unit. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. thanks chris flint |
