Need Help!- 3D cam software

Hello,

what is the best and cheapest cam software for creating gcode for solid objects?

I can't get cambam to except a solid from autocad.
It does'nt seem to have enough features to make a solid part, unless i'm doing something wrong. : )

Be assured that it does have enough features - I use it all the time for 3D stuff. You need to load an .stl or .3ds file for CamBam to use with 3D work.
I don't know if autocad can output these file types though, so you may need another CAD program - I use ViaCAD 2d/3d with great success.

But a pretty good compromise choice might be DeskProto Lite; it's quite inexpensive but fast and easy to use. You can download it and use it for a month before you have to pay, from www.deskproto.com Let me know when you're hooked, and want to buy it...
