    Advise New cnc & software

We are fairly new to the cnc world. We are planning to purchase a new 48x60 cnc router from John Lepkowski, a Dallas company who builds economical routers. He has a basic web site at http:www/lowcostcnd.com. We have found him to have a good reputation, who manufatures quality machines and offers good customer service. If you have dealt with John we would like to hear from you. More important, his machines use Supercam and I would like your opinion of this software.

    Hi Jchalter,

Just as a precaution for your possible future needs, why not ask them if you can use other CADCAM software later on, should you so desire? It would be best to know "up front" if there is some special way that the machine is wedded to this particular CADCAM package.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
