Does anybody have some piecing parameters for a soft pierce on a 4000kw Trumpf laser? I am cutting 1/2 inch mild steel  |

You should have the tech tables in your machine and make sure that you are using a 7.50 FOCAL LENS. For a Trumpf 2030 to soft pierce this is how the line of code would read TC_LASER_ON(1, “ST050OC17”, 11, 100). This is for a Siemens control and may not apply to your laser. To explain this line (Laser method, “Laser Technology table”, Piercing type, Cutting type). What year of machine do you have? I am actually looking for the parameters in menu 1152 it is where you set the percent of power and ms for the soft pierce. The machine that is giving grief is a 1999 2530 it does not have PCS. |

| We have 2 3030's although we use lantec post to program. I think it should work though, the files are .lst I don't know what you want? |

I am writing a post for the software I use and 16 gauge 4 x 8 sheet material will be fine with just some simple parts. The code at the header of the .lst file is what I am interested in.
