I have a benchtop router that is all working fine with mach 3. My problem is that the g code saved from g-simple looks like this: # GSIMPLE SCRIPT FILE # www.gsimple.eu $66 2.05 $65 0 INFO $127 MM $85 VF0 $12 $1 1 $2 noname.cnc $58 1 $95 3 1.00000 712.39075 223.82743 124 $5 0 -350.000 -300.000 0.000 and I am getting a error on mach 3 "unkown word where unary operation could be line 0" I have tried to edit out the first 2 lines and it is still not happy. Is there another step I need to know about. This does not look like the g-code that mach 3 wants to see. PLEASE HELP !!! I am so close to making this thing work. Thanks |

So I now have found a way to make it work. I went to "g code" "edit" and it was opened in NOTEPAD. Deleted the first 3 lines of text and saved it. Opened it up with mach 3 and it worked! Is this normal or is there another way I should be doing it ???? Thanks Gregg |
