Hi All I have been machining full scale cars and other large objects by machining them in layers using Vectric Cut3D software. http://www.wecutfoam.com/wecutfoam_foam_machining.html I heard that there is a 3+1 software that can generate g code for machining when the spindle is set horizontal (as the 4th axis ?) Anyone know anything about this ? I can mount my 5HP spindle vertical or horizontal (to machine the side of the car) - but I think I need a CAM software that will know that I am machining the side. Any help would be appreciated  |

| hi every good cam software can do this, i think it's just a z axis definition maybe rotate the part to have the machining side in the z direction the only problem will be a reference point when you turn the car
