Build Thread- Vericut 6.0 Cutter Comp

I am new to this site. Hope you all had a great Holiday. We have just gotten Vericut 6.0. How do you get cutter comp to work? When you open up your tool and select cutter comp, you get a circle with a line through it and you cant add anything to that line. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I've worked with Vericut, however I have never worked with cutter compensation, try to modify the description (that comes out as 0 automatically) by clicking on it and give it the value you need.

hey all.
i am the vericut programmer at a small shop in chicopee ma. to set up cutter comp, you have to first put the value in the tool manager (right click on the tool, click add cutter comp, then put the value in). make sure you hit enter after putting in the value, or when you select save it may delete whatever you put in(weird, hugely annoying little bug). then go to project=>processing options=>g-code=>settings, and set the "process cutter comp" dropdown to on-default to zero. that should take care of the problem. let me know how if you have any problems.
