| NCPlot will calculate a run time but a lot depends on the machine. I have seen run times on peck drilling programs cut almost in half by simply retuning the Z axis servo drive. Not all machines leave the factory with a properly tuned control system and when doing lots of short moves just a little more acceleration can take a good chunk of time off the part. |
