Good Laptop For CAM/CAD

Hey guys, looking to get a laptop soon to use for designing and programming, have a desktop that does great for both, but i spend alot of time away from it, and i get ideas when im out, and about in the shop, would be nice to have the laptop right there to use. I currently have a laptop, but it will not run the CAM or CAD software, wont even install them, its about 5-6 years old now, but im looking for a relatively inexpensive option here, it will be used just for CAD/CAM and internet, thats it.

Any suggestions?

Dell M4400 or M6400?

I have had a Dell M6300 for a while now.
When I bought it I loaded it up a bit, just under $3000 if I remember. That included a 22" monitor.
It does a good job running KeyCreator, Solidworks, and MasterCAM.

Watch out for the Intel Graphics Video chips. They suck for cadcam/ Stick with Nvidia if you can get it. A new box will probably have Win 7. Make sure your CadCam software supports it.

DELL M4400 LOL. I have one and it's the best PC IMPO for CAD/CAM

LOL, don't forget the 24" Monitor. Great for large Assemblies.
