I have a built a small 3 axis milling machine which is run by stepper motors. The drivers are 2 phase type (step/direction) and these are controlled by a qbasic program via the parallel port.Is there a way i can move to the next stage of having the machine mill directly from drawing. |

| Maybe someday, we can just hold up the drawing to a scanner and push the "machine this" button. Till then you need to use a CAM program to convert those lines and arcs to G-code, or hand code it ie: manually write the g code. |
