Alphacam support tags

Hi Guys,
Im using alphacam to cut some small pieces of 18mm ply, im using support tags so they dont fly about when i cut them out.
im cutting 18mm in 2 cuts and my tag length are 4 mm long 2mm high.
alphacam went crazy and only cut out half of my object, At the point where the tag should be it raised the head and cut the rest out ony going 9mm deep.
(so half has cut out correctly)
i think it got confused because it had to cut 3 different depths but only set for 2 cuts
1) the first cut down to 9mm
2) the depth of my tag down to 16mm
3) the final cutout down to 18.5mm

The tags work fine when im only using 1 cut to go all the way through.

ive checked the tool paths in alphacam and on toolpath (machine controller)
they both read as they should.......

Has anyone else had this problem?..............is there a way around it?

thanks in advance for your time.

From my experience with advanced router 7, you can only use the tags on a single pass or everything goes screwy. If you need to do more than one pass, then what I do is make a pass without tags; then go to edit operations and uncheck the pass you just made; it will "hide" until you go back and check it again. After that make another pass on the same geometry; this time use your tags. Then go back to edit operations and recheck the previous operation. This may vary depending on what machine/ post processor you have; but this works for me.
