Hi,

I would like to modify a MasterCam post processor or machine defenition to change the A output for a rotary axe for a B.

I use Mach3 and my A axis is slaved to the X so for my 4th axis, it need to be a B rotation.

why not just open the post in notepad then find replace "a" with "b"- that should do the trick

Yes, I know that but would like mastercam do this for me.

Why don't you call the slaved axis B or C

Then you can have A for a rotary that aligns with X.

That is what Mastercam is expecting
