| I'm going to be making an autobot logo out of 3mm aluminium to either rivet or weld to the fuel tank door on my car, was thinking riveting it to give the machine look, but I may not have enough room on the peices. I reckon it'll look pretty damn good, especially since the car is black with dark tinted windows. I'll leave the aluminium with a shiny metal facing. Anyway. I'm kinda stuck on how I should approach this, because the autobot logo isn't one piece, it's made of muliple pieces that don't touch. I could cut the pieces separately, print out a stencil and scribe it on the door then use those lines to place it, but what I'm really looking for is an easier, safer way to get it perfect, because if it's off by a 1mm it'll stand out like dogs balls. I've had tabs in mind but they wouldn't look so good, and kinda kill the whole look of it. Heres a picture of the logo for those that don't know it: |
