| 3DS MAX files can't be converted, due to the way MAX handles it's objects. You can, however, export .3ds and other formats from MAX, which then could be coverted. What about GMAX? I've never used it, so couldn't tell you if it would work.

| It could also be a Paperport file format. We used this software for scanning documents and it has a *.max file extention. I'll look at the software tonight to see if it has any conversion ability. How many files do you need to convert? |

| Maybe someone here has MAX and can do it for you? Anyone?
