Hello everybody, I come from Lithuania and I'm tryly a DIY'er. A lot of information is gathered on this board, but i could'nt find an anwser to my question. I have made a grinding machine from a lathe. It has two axis A (rotary) and X. The grinding is done with 175 mm wheel (6.9"). The problem is, if I grind a more complex shape than circle, like a cam, i need some kind of compensation as the grinding point moves up and down as the part rotates. How can I calculate x coordinate offset, better yet, which software can do that for me ? Thanks in advance. |
