Kinda scary little site there. The email link doesnt work - your providing information and getting a blind download that doesnt having certificate information.

Think I will wait to open the .exe until a couple other people with better quarantine procedures try it first.

It's safe, I posted an anonymous message on the official mecsoft support forum, and the admins replied. Check it here
It states that they own cncportal, and just wanted to keep it seperate from their main interests. So get downloading!
