Hello, I have bought VCarve 4.6 and like it a lot. The main reason for this is that it is easy to use and posts files directly in to Mach 3. Now I want 3D, and Vectric Cut 3D is the natural choice because of the same reasons that I like VCarve. I plan to do turning within the year also. My question is this: Since I do most technical designs, and Vectric is more aimed at the sign and art segment; Is there other packages I should consider? I am in the process of adding CNC to my lathe, so what I would like to know is if it's a CAM program that will do both turning and milling, and still have the same easy interface that VCarve have? The price should be under 3000$ Happy to hear from you! |

| Good luck with your search. Most reputable CAM software is priced WAY over $3000.00. I doubt you will find anything on today's market that will fit your requirements. Please prove me wrong. I think today's CAM sysyems are horribly over priced. |
