I am just interested to know if anyone still uses corel for there drawing software.
I have built an engraving machine running EMC2 and use corel for the design software and have written a macro to export Dxf and am currently adding a Gcode export to the macro. This macro is for corel X3 as that is what I am using. This code works very well for what I am doing and I am thinking of adding more to it.
I am interested to know if this is something other people could use or if I should just develope it for myself. (this will tell me how to design the macro --- I don't need a lot of things that other people might want in this macro)
I am not a programmer, but needed a way to get good Dxf files for my Gcode generator and thought, Hay, I can do Dxf files so maybe I can do Gcode too. and first tests look pretty good so far.
Jimmy,
Hi,
I did this several years ago. It is sold by Candcnc.com as the DXFTool.
I will have a full CAD / CAM system for CorelDraw sometime this year. It is in beta currently and is free to use for beta testers.
