Protel export to Gerber then import to DeskCNC

    Hi,

I have been trying to import a Gerber file that I have exported from Protel in to DeskCNC but every time it comes up with a menu saying "out of memory". I have more then 2Gs of RAM but for some reason when importing the Gerber file DeskCNC sucks up 1.5gb of RAM, then after few moments it saying "out of memory". Is this normal? I'm using the protel 99 se and the latest version of DeskCNC. If anyone knows the correct way of exporting protel file to gerber file or know what I'm doing wrong please help! Thanks for your guys time.

Also, if I just create a single short straight trace line then export to gerber then importing them to DeskCNC a window pops up and says, "Photoplot to large" Does anyone know why it does that? Thanks
