OneCNC will fit the bill since you asked. What other software should I look at as well.![]()
Sorry if I make mistakes, this is my first post.
I am looking at VisualTurn CAM for my basic lathe turning cnc machine.
Does anyone have any experience with this software???
What other software should I look at as well.
I just want easy programming for simple 2D profiles, no holes, bores etc.
Also it would be great if it could import Solidworks .sldprt files.
Thanks
John

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
Thanks for lead, I will look into OneCNC.
Cheers

Mecsoft has a SW importer for VisualMill, I don't know about VT (ask them).
They will also do online demos of the software (again, call and talk to them).

Thanks for the info, I will contact them.
DolphinCadCam has a very nice turning package. It is fast and very easy to use. I also use their milling program which works great for 2.5D.

I use Dolphin as well. Unless you don't have a budget, I highly recommend it.
