What are you guys using to make/store/catalogue setup sheets. We use Gibbscam and Mastercam, and both setup sheet options in each software package don't seem very user friendly to me. I'm curious what others us to keep track of everything. We have a small shop, 10 machininsts, only two of us are programmers. Right now we have ton's of old paper files that we use with our setup sheets but they often get misplaced or wrecked. We're looking for an alternate method (maybe stored on computers) that will make is very user friendly for everyone to use. thanks for any input |

| I would use CutePDF and generate a PDF file from the CAM software your using. You can then access the set-up sheet from any computer. http://www.cutepdf.com/ Independent CNC Programmer www.ctcn.net/~3kings/ My mission is to share CNC programming innovations for a lifetime. |

| I have a small(one person) shop, too. I use OpenOffice to create my setup sheets, then save them as PDFs for printing when a job is ready to run. Scibblr all over the printout to modify the setup sheet for the next run (job notes, problems, solutions, measuring techniques, etc. |
