What type of computer are you guys getting away with running Alibre? I have a one year old laptop with a 1.5gigs of ram and Processor: Intel Celeron M 1.6 GHz. Running Vista. Think this is powerfull enough to run Alibre? What about putting XP on it? Thanks |

| You can put XP on it if you want to. I have run Alibre express on an original P4 1.5 (Willamette - yuck), 768mb ram, FX5200 vid, XPPro. It is slow but works.

| You certainly couldn't pay me to run it under Vista. Vista is much more of a hog than XP ever will be. I run Alibre under a XP machine with a 1.5ghz mobile centrino with 2gb ram. I had to upgrade my video driver to the latest from 2003 (yes, it's an OLD laptop), but it all works great. Wade |
