| DanO, If you still can't convert your file, you can e-mail it to me and I will have a look at it. Regards, Scott smartinz@comcast.net |

| Dan, NCPlot currently does not read in SPLINE entities from the DXF file. The reason for this is that the G-Code language does not support splines directly. So splines must be broken up into lines and arcs which is what G-Code can read. This can probably be done by Autocad when you save the file by saving splines as polylines (don't know how you do this in Autocad). I'm attaching your sample file which I saved as polylines and the resulting NC code. Regards, Scott |

Scott, I was starting to get a feeling that you were going to say something like that ... I've just been told by ger21 :- "There is also a spline to polyline Lisp program freely available that will do the same thing, but will let you decide on the # of segments. You can get it here: http://new.cadalyst.com/code/browsey...?fullyear=2003 It's from December, 2003 Thanks ~ I appreciate your help. Regards, Dan |

| Dan. Like I said in that other thread, just save as version 12 .dxf and it will make the splines polylines automatically. If you're happy with the results, you don't even need the lisp.
