Need Help!- Anyone know about ArtCAM Express

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying an 'entry level' cadcam package called ArtCAM Express. I have had a look at the website and it seems quite good but I wanted to get other peoples opinions first. Have any of you used it/ heard of it? What is the company like to work with?

Do they have a demo? From what I see id say its the same as all the vcarve products, vcarve,cut3d and photocarve. Artcam pro would the the best to have if you have the bucks to buy. You can not do 3d modeling in express but they give a load of models which is a good deal, Thinks it about $1000,00 little more than vcarve but you get all the free models so works out good. thats all I know.been looking at that as well, Just wondering if you got express and wanted to upgrade to pro would you get a discount. That woulld be cool. Any way check it out. Graham

Isnt Artcam a Delcam Product? Yes, there is a demo of Artcam Insignia.. but you will not be able to save the file...

Yes it is a delcam product, insignia and express are 2 different programs. insignia has more capabilities than express but not sure what the price differences are. Graham

Sorry, when you mentioned vcarve, photocarve, and cut3d I thought you were assuming Artcam was a Vectric product. My mistake.....
