I recently acquired a used Techno-Isel RG-5996 router. I just finished installing and leveling the machine. The previous owner left a bunch of files behind in a directory called "cnc programs." From the filenames it looks like mostly various logos, sports teams, car companies, something called labyrinth, etc. Anyway being a car buff I would like to see what some of these are but I do not know what software they were created with or how to open them. Each filename has five different file extensions. For example: Ferrari Logo.BRK Ferrari Logo.CM Ferrari Logo.EV Ferrari Logo.LIM Ferrari Logo.NCD Does anybody recognize those extensions? The normal file extension websites don't come back with anything I recognize other than Nero Cover Designer for the *.NCD. I have emailed the previous owner about it and have yet to hear back.

| Thanks for looking those up, Those are the same results I got using the web. How do they relate to CNC control? I guess a better question would have been "Are these files types for any known CNC control package?" I may be able to use them with the Techno control but I don't know enough about it yet to know for sure.

| When you preprocess a nc file in the Techno controller it creates files like that. Use something like wordpad to confirm that the .NCD file is your G-code. You should be able to open that file in the controller app and it would be ready to cut without having to preprocess again (as long as nothing has changed with the post/machine/tools etc). You can preview the toolpath to see what it does but those aren't model files. The legalities of using the previous owners files is between you two. |

| Yeah I figured out the file types the other day. The *.ncd files are the G-code files. Are you a lawyer or did you just stay at a Holiday Inn express last night?
