simple CAD for drawing rectangles on grid

I'm looking for software to easily draw and push around rectangles on a single layer. I do this at work with the layout editor in Agilent ADS (a bazillion dollar simulation tool). I want to set a 5 mil grid and just push polygons around. I've downloaded a number of free packages: Eagle, A9CAD, others I've forgotten, but haven't found what I'm looking for. I didn't see how to view the grid in A9CAD.

I'm using this for making PCBs with a CNC router. I don't want a package that is going to want to tie my layout to a schematic. I just want to draw rectangles.

I don't have it installed, but try F7.

Also, look at ProgeCAD Smart, which is an AutoCAD clone with identical commands. http://www.progecad.com/compra/index...age=1&lang=eng

    F7 should work in that.
