I have a number of custom design solutions that output my parts in STL. I need a simple utility that will allow me to load a part and add a raised mark (letter(s), symbol(s), etc,) to the outside surface of the part and then save it back to STL again. Anyone know of such a beast? Thanks! Jay |

| Huh - I figured if it output it must read it. You could use Alibre if you had a stl convertor. This one http://www.micromouse.ca/index.html is free to try $20 to buy.

I'm looking for a solution I can insert into my one-off manufacturing process. The additional step of conversion will never fly. Thanks for the pointers though, I appreciate it. |
