Any one using the cut rate OEM software on sale that include some of the more popular CAD CAM programs. The sellers claim that they can provide these low prices because they do not have the overhead of providing support and the software is downloaded. |

| I checked out the site. I'm not sure what to make of it. It seems "iffy" to me, but I don't know how it could be illegal or anything. If it were, it seems like they would have been caught by now. So, I don't know. If you do decide to use it. Let me know how it goes, they are a lot cheaper. Thanks

| The only legitimate OEM CAD/CAM software would most likely come bundled with a machine. It's very unlikely these are legal packages.

| Zablink. If this site had major issues, this and other forums (fora?) would have been buzzling with commentsand or complaints. However, I also agree with Gerry that most legit sellers would hint that they will included a hardware item to make the sale legal. Hopefully, someone in this forum will have more defintive information, Wilfred |

| The prices shown on the other web site are in some cases less than one twentieth of the normal retail price. This looks highly suspicious to me. Contact the manufacturer of the software and ask if they know anything about this site. I'm fairly certain it will be a scam, it just looks too good to be true. Splint |

| I am giving up on OEM versions since I am not sure about legality of what is being sold as OEM. I'm looking now for a used current version of hobby-priced vector xt cad cam basic, or the DeskCNC software. I am trying to avoid paying the already reduced price of $395 for the vector cad cam and use any potential savings toward buying parts for my cnc mill upgrade, Wilfred |
