    Interesting video - GIDeS++ - Gesture-Based Cad System

    I've never seen cad like this before, never even heard of the software. I stumbled across it on youtube.

    That program is cool.

    I found a few links (below), from what I found, it looks like the software is from http://www.inevo.pt/ , the problem is the link is dead.

    I googled around and it seems it originated at a German university and the origins date back into the mid 1990s. Even the video clip is a couple of years old and nothing I linked into seemed any more recent. Which is a pity; if I found someone selling this kind of system for a reasonable price I could be very tempted to buy it. It could overcome my antipathy to CAD systems which make you remember all manner of non-intuitive commands.
    An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
