Any one using VX?

I saw a demo last week, and it looked pretty impressive, at least from a modeling standpoint. The rep showed us the CAM side also, and that looked pretty good too, but they have canned demos of course. That's why I'd like to have the opinions of some folks that have first hand knowledge. Things like how's the support, can you get help with posts, is it suiting your needs, etc.

My dealer is raving about the modeling side of VX. He hasn't done much with the CAM, because he likes his product. The cost seems to be competitive with Solidworks. I'd like to know what you think.

I have not seen this either and was wondering if anyone had any information. It looks good but how well does it perform???

Yeah, Toby, that's what I'm wondering too. The modeling seems pretty good, although I'd have to play with it and go through the tutorials, then try modeling some things I work on. More than that though, I'm interest in what the CAM can do. The prices are 2K, 4K, 6K and 10K (for everything). The machining package is $6k and $1200/yr maint. Hope someone here has some insight.

I have watched their video but it doesn't really go into too much detail on the functions and abilities.
