| CAM software Well, I just finished building my first CNC router and it works! Now comes the fun, actually cutting out useful things. Can you suggest inexpensive software for converting drawings to G code? I am interested in .bmp, as well as .dxf files? |

| LazyCAM, free with Mach3, will do both. You might also want to look at SheetCAM for .dxf's.

| Thanks. I started looking at lazycam I also looked at the wizards in Mach 3. I've got some studying to better understand how to use them. Is there documentation for lazycam? |

| Try a trial of meshcam or cambam is free at the moment, Both cool programs as well. I know cambam will do dxf 2.5 d stuff. Graham |
