Cool Software for simultaneous 5 axis machining

Can someone give me a comparison on HyperMill vs Esprit Vs One CNC. Actually I'm looking a cam software for Impellers & Blisks machining. I'd really appreciate if someone could suggest me a cam software for simultaneous 5 axis machining of above mentioned components with the context of cost, time for learning, after sales support etc.

TIA,

Mudasser.

HyperMill, PowerMill, WorkNC, Tebis, MasterCam. These are the big boys of simultaneous 5-axis programming. Do some research on those titles and you should get loads of information. OneCNC doesn't do simultaneous programming last I heard.

There are other titles too, but this should get you started.

For Impellers & Blisk machining I would recomend NCL by Numerical Control Computer Sciences. They specialize in these kinds of parts. They also feature Advanced Solid NC Verification and a Universal Post Processor:

holbieone,

Can you find out what CAM system your company uses to program those bliscs? I watched the video (very nice) and I would like to know.

Wow, it is very impressive software but does it specialize in these types of parts only or does it do general CAM programming (2D and 3 Axis) too?

NuForm Level I is 2 1/2 axis parametric

NuForm Level II is 2 1/2 axis to 6 axis

it was developed for blades , blisc , buckets ect.

and also will work on any other type of part

I have looked over the website and the software features and I am very impressed by the obvious capabilities of the NU-FORM system. I went beyond the pretty pictures on the website and actually spoke to an applications engineer at the company about the software's amazing programming abilities. Looks like a definite "high-end" winner to me. I love new and innovative systems and would never say the programming system I happen to own is the best; especially if it's NOT. The TRUE test of a CAM programming system is, "how easy is it to go from point A to point B?"

Employee again ... for hyperMILL.

We offer a unique blend of general CAM strategies - 2D, 3D, and 5x, as well as specialized kits for turbomachinery. Easy to use due to intuitive interface and strong internal mathematics that do much of the work for you!
