I really like the Solidworks my buddy has - and his Rhino too. So I'd buy either of those -- if I couldn't use his platforms when he's not on.
But looking at MOI - there may be some growing pains as the software matures - seems that (from the forums anyway) there are some export problems to stl, iges. 3dm... etc. Haven't checked if it exports to dxf for your use - but you could convert to that maybe using some free/lower cost software.
Just looking sideways at the situation Might be something for me to use too
OOOOH BUMMER - just checked and it Does Not do dxf directly - so you'd have to convert - guess you knew that!..  Jim
