I have no knowledge of the software I should use to design and generate my G codes. At first I want to do plain old 2D cut outs. What freeware / cheapware should I use to help me do this? I have been given different demos of software, but they seem very confusing to use just to do a 2D cut. I know I will have to learn to use them eventually but for the moment 2D will be all I need. Any suggestions. |

| Ace Converter (http://www.dakeng.com) is freeware and generates g-code from DFX. This thread for all kinds of free cnc-related software: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...&threadid=2616 Fer |
