| I don't have much experience with CAD to CNC interface. however Of all the CAD programs i have used I believe Autodesk Inventor is by far the easiest to learn. The interface is extremely easy to use. having said that im not sure how easy it is to interface to CNC. One option may be to use something like inventor and export your files to DXF or other format to be read by your CNC's Interface software |

| You need to post a few more things about what machine your working with. Above all CAD is not CAM. CAD is Computer Aided Design/Drafting CAM is Computer Aided Manufacturing Have you looked at Mastercam??? AutoCAD Inventer is a good CAD but it doesn't have any CAM Modules for Programming CNC's. What type of work will you be doing??? Is this a Hobby or Professional Business???

| You can check out V-Carve as well. I hear a lot of people are satisfied with that Software. They have a Sub-Forum here.

| for signs and such i think it would be hard to beat artcam any true decent software will take time to learn ,normally easy to learn softwares don t have a lot of the features complex softwares do which makes them easy to learn ,and you will be limited , the more features you have the more choices you have to approach a project |
