    microtech cnc simulator

Hi. Not sure if this is the correct forum for this....

Does anyone use microtech cnc simulator? Heard about it and that it was 100% free, so of course checked it out. Having a problem with it and refuse to think that it wouldn't work in this program. I posted in the software forum, so far no reply. Not many people go there it seems.

Anyways, now the problem. Drilling cycles. What it does is drill the first hole, then will just hover over the rest of the coordinates.

Basically just checking if anyone here uses this software, and whats the deal with drilling cycles on it.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes I have used it and have had the same result with a canned drilling cycle.
I just assume now that if the first one is OK the rest will perform identicaly (apart from the position).
Oddly enough, I have had the same thing happen with another free one I have tried?

Thanks, I'm going to email the guy and see what he says about fixing it. Should be really easy to fix. It drills the first one, so there is some kind of drilling function in the program, just needs to loop it for the rest of the coordinates until it sees a G80.
