    Alibre anyone?

Would anyone happen to be using or have used Alibre Designer. I am considering a purchase due to price and features. I can't justify spending several thousand + for Solid Works or Inventor.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

    Wolog,
I'v used Alibre and my boss has Solid Works. Him and I are both very impressed with Alibre for what it dose for the amount you spend. It's very easy to learn I thought and I never used a solid modeling software before This.I'v used Auto Cad 13. I felt that this Alibre Was very easy.

I bought Alibre before I purchased OneCNC and never used it, I wanted a single CAD/CAM software. There is a yearly maintenance fee if you want support or updates to the software, this is offset somewhat by a very respectable user forum on Yahoo as well as others. Alibre is enjoying increasing recognition with in the CAD world and graphics I have seen are superb.

Alibre is absolutely inredible. I'm into my second week using it, and have already done a full parametric design of 30+ part assembly. It's just awesome.

I'd wait another week before making a decision.

OneCNC will be releasing something new.

If he hasn't bought anything yet, he's already waited 18 months.

He's not alone, software companies are long past tired of my procrastination.

Are you using the "free" X-Cad version?
