Fagar 8055 Mill contoller help

I am new to this forum, please bear with me.
I have a Fagor 8055 controller on my machining center with a WinDnc post processor.
I have the WinDnc connected and talking to the machine BUT I cant seem to be able to send any new programs from the PC side to the machine. I can see the theory of how it is suppose to go over but it will not go. It seems that the Fagor needs a "P" program number as a name but I cant see how to place a P number on it to send it.

I did get one program over to the cnc side by copying it into an empty program number but this is a very slow way of doing it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The files name needs to be six characters and ".PIM"
eg. 123456.PIM
The first line of your program should be:
%Name,MX

Did you get the files to transfer?

Thanks for your concern. Yes I did it to transfer, but it is still very confusing to do it. I have had the time to see if it works on the machine. That is the next hurdle. I can only assume that the machine will not be able to read the file.
