I am new to this forum, please bear with me. I have a Fagor 8055 controller on my machining center with a WinDnc post processor. I have the WinDnc connected and talking to the machine BUT I cant seem to be able to send any new programs from the PC side to the machine. I can see the theory of how it is suppose to go over but it will not go. It seems that the Fagor needs a "P" program number as a name but I cant see how to place a P number on it to send it. I did get one program over to the cnc side by copying it into an empty program number but this is a very slow way of doing it. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| Thanks for your concern. Yes I did it to transfer, but it is still very confusing to do it. I have had the time to see if it works on the machine. That is the next hurdle. I can only assume that the machine will not be able to read the file. I will keep you informed. Thanks Bruce |
