    Need input from Integrex Users

I have a Integrex 300II-SY and am tired of programming with mazatrol. What cam systems do you guys use? Can you tell me the pros and cons of the CAM system you went with? I have been looking for a couple of weeks now and am leaning towards Esprit but I feel that I need to do a little more research before I recommend a system to the president of the company. I just got back from WESTEC and left more questions than answers. Any input you guys can lend me is greatly appreciated.

You may want to contact Solution Ware. They make a module for Geopath that is just like Mazatrol but offline. I am not sure if you want a different approach from mazatrol , but I think the Geopath program will be a good solution.

Looked at Solutionware and didn't like the interface. Thanks for your input though.

    My Imput

I have a customer that has been a GibbsCAM user for years and has a 200-SY running currently with out issues. Also, they are using GibbsCAM for 5 Axis milling as well. They will be taking delivery of a 300 III-SY very soon and the post for there machine is under construction now. I can't see it as too big an issue, since we have a Integrex running how and the 5 axis posting to a Mazak HMC.

The nice thing with Gibbs is that all the machine setup, customizing and the post work is done for you. This type of application is NOT a "off the shelf" item. I think Esprit has a different approch to it. If I am not mistaken, you will be the one spending your time, doing all the post and configuration work.

At least that is how it used to be anyway.

Check into GibbsCAM, is doesn't hurt to look.
