Intel Core 2 duo. 2 gig's RAM (Wanted to get 4Gb Ram but that was an extra 2000euro ) 512mb Nvidia 7200 graphics card. But thats on the laptop that I do all the design work and heavy stuff on, my cnc controller is a clean machine with nothing on it except Mach3. Not sure of the speed, Pentium something or other with I think512mb Ram, and possibly a 128mb graphics card.

Maybe make this a poll, I'd be interested to see the spread of different systems.

To dcrblazer:
In my view your PC's memory is not good enough for CAD/CAM and/or software programing. These kind of softwares need more memory. They eat memories same monsters.
You should upgrade it.I confuse this: Your PC's memory is 512MB or 512 K ?
If 512 MB is poor.I think it is 512 MB.
If it has a side space beside current memory, you can purchase SDRAM or DDR memory card (Future Shop, Office Depot, Staples etc,) than you can install yourself beside old one.(If secondery terminal space available)
At least a PC must have average 1-2 GB memory for these kind of jobs.

My PC has Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with 2.5 MHz speed. ATI GPU. 4GB 800 MHZ,RAM. 32 (x86) XP2 Sp3 OS. MSI P35 MOB. 320 GB SATA HDD.
Core 2 Duo is higher than Pentium. After Core 2 Duo they made Quad Cores. I'am happy with my system. But don't forget a good Internet Security program or only Antivirus. Other wise you should be ready anytime for face a very bad suprise.
