| Programming 5-axis drilling Just curious as to what people are using to program compound angle holes on a 5-axis or 3+2 axis machine? WorkNc is a great program, but drilling is not one of it's strong points. Are there any cheap programs which only do drilling? Thanks Dan |

| I do not know any cheap one persay but I program 5axis drilling using Mastercam and find it real easy actully. All that is really needed is a line in the vector you want at the length you want and this contains most of whats needed. but of coure you have more options like from a solid or surface data or points.

| Thanks for the reply. Since I posted that, I investigated drilling in Worknc, and it does do a good job. It was just something that I had not needed to use before, so I was not as familiar with it as I should have been. Dan |
